Metaview integrates with Zoho Recruit. This enables AI-generated interview summaries, enhanced candidate data, Application Review, and Sourcing — helping your team work more efficiently and make better hiring decisions.
API rate limits may apply. Zoho Recruit’s API is sold in multiple tiers. Depending on your plan, you will be assigned a tier that dictates the number of API calls that can be made per day. Please confirm that your Zoho Recruit plan’s rate limit supports your usage before connecting.

Connect Zoho Recruit to Metaview

In Metaview, go to Settings → Integrations, find Zoho Recruit, and click Connect. Follow the on-screen flow to complete the setup.
Easy to miss: the Zoho user who connects Metaview must have “View” permission on the Applications module. Without it, Zoho blocks access to your candidate applications and the setup will fail with an error like “A permission is missing in the remote system — Zoho Recruit rejected access to the Applications module.” Please confirm this permission is in place before connecting.To grant it, your Zoho Recruit admin should:
  1. In Zoho Recruit, go to Setup → Users and Control → Security Control → Profiles.
  2. Open the profile of the user who will connect (or has connected) Metaview. Connecting as a full Administrator is the simplest way to avoid permission gaps.
  3. Give that profile “View” permission on the Applications module, and make sure the Applications module is enabled for your organization.
  4. Return to Metaview (Settings → Integrations → Zoho Recruit) and Connect — or, if you connected before granting the permission, Reconnect.
If the profile was updated recently, reconnecting the integration may be required for the change to take effect.

Permissions

The Zoho Recruit connection is authorized through Kombo as a whole — there are no individual permissions for you to select. Metaview uses that access to match your calls to the right candidate and role, enrich candidate profiles, keep your team in sync, and write Notes and other Metaview information back to Zoho Recruit.
Kombo is a Metaview subprocessor. Our current subprocessor list is published in the Trust Center, and the terms covering this processing are set out in our DPA. See also Privacy and security.
Anything under Optional is only used by an individual feature — without it, the core integration still works.

An Administrator profile is the simplest way to avoid permission gaps, but it isn’t mandatory as long as the View permission above is in place.

Integrating your Zoho Recruit ATS to Metaview unlocks the following features:

When a call was matched to data in Zoho Recruit, you will see the Zoho Recruit logo in Metaview. Click on the Zoho Recruit logo to go to the matched entry in your ATS.

What’s not supported

  • Automatic scheduling — Schedule interviews through your connected calendar. Metaview will then match the call to Zoho Recruit data.

Troubleshooting

Since Zoho Recruit does not support automatic scheduling, Metaview will attempt to match calls scheduled through your connected calendar to relevant Zoho Recruit records. The most common reasons why this doesn’t happen automatically are:
  • Call or candidate is missing in the ATS
  • Duplicate calls or candidates in the ATS
  • Data mismatch between Metaview invite and information in ATS (e.g. wrong participants, missing participant, wrong candidate)
  • Insufficient information to match call or candidate (often occurs when using Inviting to an ongoing call or Upload recordings options)
  • The meeting type is NOT set to Job interview or Debrief. Please see Call details for more information.
If you believe that a Metaview call was not matched or was incorrectly matched to your ATS data, please reach out to us and provide as much data as possible for our team to properly investigate. Please provide specific examples and the relevant IDs (e.g. application ID, candidate ID) from your ATS.

Disconnect your Zoho Recruit integration

You can disable your Metaview integration directly from within your Metaview account under Settings → Integrations then select Disconnect Zoho Recruit. This immediately disconnects Metaview from your ATS data. Please note however that any calls that have already been scheduled may still go ahead. Please see Disabling Metaview for details on how to also make sure that the Notetaker bot doesn’t join any future calls.
