Under GDPR and other similar data privacy regulations, data subjects have the right to access their personal data. They can also request for it to be deleted. Metaview supports customers’ processes for ensuring the rights of data subjects including the right to access and erasure.

Access requests

If you receive a data subject access request and would like to share data processed by Metaview with call participants in a common machine-readable format, you can follow the instructions to use our self-service tools to download recordings, transcripts, and notes.
You can also use the Sharing option to give colleagues and external participants access to your Metaview calls.

You can easily copy or download the full transcript of your call. Click on the recording tile to view the full transcript of the call, followed by Download transcript. Download transcript

If there is a recording available for your call, you can download it to your computer so that it can be shared as part of an access request. Click on the recording tile to view the full recording of the call, followed by Download video or Download audio (for audio-only recordings). Deleting a conversation

You can delete any conversation you have access to, and admins have the ability to delete any conversation across the workspace.
  1. Open the conversation you want to delete.
  2. Click the dropdown menu in the right panel of the notes editor.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. You will be asked to Confirm deletion: “Delete this conversation for everyone? This action cannot be undone.”

Please note that deletion is irreversible and will apply to all other users who have access to the call.
Please note that conversations that have been shared with you cannot be deleted directly; in those cases, the delete option will appear greyed out and you should contact the conversation owner or your team’s admin to process the deletion. Access And Deletion No Permission Pn Deleted calls continue to count toward your subscription limits, such as quotas on a free plan. If you prefer to remove only part of a conversation rather than the entire record, you can use the Redaction feature instead. For organizations needing bulk deletion or automatic deletion as part of data retention policies, these can be arranged at the workspace level by reaching out to the privacy team.

Information for candidates and other meeting participants

Metaview is a data processor for our customers and does not own any of the personal data that we process as part of our services. We provide customers with self-service tools to handle access and data deletion requests from job candidates and other meeting participants present on calls where they used Metaview. If Metaview was used on one of your recent calls, please reach out to your recruiter or person who met with you so they can assist you with your request.
