Set up organization-wide privacy and compliance configurations
Metaview can be configured to meet your organization’s needs and requirements. These include settings for:
Data retention: Your organization decides how long Metaview stores recordings, transcripts, notes, and call metadata in your team’s Metaview workspace. Automatic data deletion can be set up aligned with your internal data retention policies.
Access and sharing permissions: Your organization controls who can access, view, and share Metaview content, including notes and recordings, within and outside your workspace.
Recording preferences: Your organization can choose whether video is recorded alongside audio. Video recording can be disabled to capture audio only, depending on your team’s preferences or compliance requirements.
Admin controls: Certain configuration options are available to admins in the Workspace Settings, including workspace-wide defaults for features and access.
Bot participation rules: Your organization can define when the Metaview bot should or shouldn’t join calls, based on meeting type, participants, or other custom rules.
Recording notice: Your organization can set up a Metaview-managed candidate notice form, using customized language and opt-in or opt-out formats based on your compliance obligations and jurisdiction. It may also be possible to an automated message to participants at the start of your video conference calls.
Bot visibility: Hiding the the Notetaker from participants in the video conference meetings isn’t a configuration option we provide . This is intentional, to support clearer transparency for all participants about when recording is taking place and who is responsible for it. In our experience working with teams across different regions and compliance requirements, approaches that record without an in-meeting presence (for example, via browser extensions, local apps, or other hidden recording tools) can make it harder for teams to consistently ensure participants are appropriately informed as usually required by applicable laws and internal policies.
