The following details and settings can be managed from your Account Settings. To access settings, click on the Metaview logo in the top left-hand corner and then on the ⚙️ (gear) icon to access the Settings menu. Then select Personal settings.

Phone numbers

From here, you can register phone numbers to be used in association with your Metaview account. You can also remove previously registered phone numbers. For details on setting up phone numbers, navigate to Phone setup and use.

Automatic scheduling

Metaview can automatically schedule itself to join your recruiting calls. There are two settings that control this behavior:

Capture calls

This is the main setting for automatic scheduling.
  • When enabled, Metaview can be automatically added to upcoming recruiting calls from all connected sources, including your calendar and any additional integrations, such as your ATS.
  • When disabled, Metaview will stop being automatically scheduled for all upcoming calls, regardless of whether the call comes from your calendar, ATS, or another connected integration.
Admins can also manage Capture calls for individual members of their team from the Team Management page.
Turning off Capture calls does not remove Metaview from calls that have already been scheduled. It only stops Metaview from being automatically added to future calls.

Join events in calendars

This setting controls whether Metaview automatically joins recruiting calls found in your connected calendar.
  • When enabled, Metaview will automatically join eligible recruiting calls in your calendar.
  • When disabled, Metaview will not be automatically scheduled from your calendar. However, Metaview may still be scheduled from other connected sources, such as your ATS, if Capture calls is still enabled.
Admins can also disable calendar-based scheduling for the whole workspace in Workspace Settings. If calendar scheduling has been disabled at the workspace level, this overrides the personal setting, and individual users will not be able to enable calendar scheduling from their personal settings.
To stop all future automatic scheduling from every source, disable Capture calls.

Email notifications

You can Enable or Disable the option to receive an email notification every time one of your Metaview calls has been transcribed and your summary notes are ready.
Please note that Metaview will not send email notifications for very short phone calls, and they may not be automatically processed as they will not have enough content to generate useful summary notes.

Bot recording

When enabled, Metaview records video in your calls so you can replay them later, create Snippets, and capture important visual context during technical interviews or when a participant shares their screen (e.g. presentations, demos, whiteboarding, or coding screens). Video recording is optional, is not used perform biometric analysis, and can be Disabled at any time.
If video recording has been disabled by your administrator in Workspace Settings, you won’t be able to enable it here, it will appear “greyed out”. Additionally, if any participant has video recording disabled for a call, video will not be recorded for anyone on that call.
Please note that audio recording cannot be disabled, as it is a necessary part of the data processing required to generate transcriptions for your video conference and phone calls. Please see Privacy configurations for more information about data minimization options.

Capture callbacks

When enabled, recipients can call you back, and the phone call will be captured on Metaview. To do this, Metaview replaces your number with a Metaview number when dialling the candidate. For more details, navigate to Capture Callbacks.

Color theme

Customize the visual appearance of Metaview: choose between light and dark, or default automatically to your system settings.

Update your name

This option is not currently available under your personal settings, but you or an admin can still update your name on the Team Management page. Simply find the account, click on the ... (3 dots) and select Rename user.
