Move candidates from Sourcing into a Sequence two ways: add a selection once, or connect a search so future Yes candidates are enrolled automatically.

Add selected candidates once

1

Open the Candidate Pack

Open the search and go to Candidates.
2

Select who to contact

Select the candidates you want to reach out to.
3

Add to sequence

Choose Add to sequence, then pick an existing sequence, Create new sequence, or Generate a new sequence.
4

Review and confirm

Check the candidate list, then select Save and add to sequence.
Candidates already in the target sequence are disabled and skipped. Adding a candidate from Sourcing records a Yes decision for them.

Connect a search to a sequence

Connecting is for when you want the flow to continue without you returning to it — every future Yes in that search enters the sequence. You can set it up from either side, and the difference matters: Maybe candidates are never enrolled automatically, from either direction.
Connecting a search creates an ongoing enrollment rule, not a one-time action. Disconnect it when you no longer want future Yes candidates added.

Before anything sends

Enrollment follows the sequence’s own candidate pause and contact lookup settings. A sequence generated from a search starts disabled, and candidates added this way start paused — so you can review the steps, sender, contact details, and personalized content before a single message goes out.
Every first-touch sequence needs a link to your candidate privacy notice and a simple opt-out, saved as fixed text in the template rather than generated per candidate. See Best practices for Sourcing and Sequences.
