Metaview integrates with Teamtailor. This enables Notes posted back to a candidate’s record, enhanced candidate metadata, automated team management, Application Review, and Sourcing — helping your team work more efficiently and make better hiring decisions.

Connect Teamtailor to Metaview

1. Navigate to API Key Settings You can navigate to token settings directly with this link. Alternatively, from the Teamtailor “Settings” page, select API keys. You should now see an overview of your API keys. 2. Generate a new API key Once on the API key page, select the + New API Key button. Name your API key “Metaview”. Select Admin from the dropdown menu, and select both the Read and Write boxes. Click Create to generate the key. After generating the key, make sure to copy it. 3. Share Teamtailor API Key with Metaview Navigate to https://my.metaview.app/?settings=teamtailor. If you haven’t previously signed in to Metaview, you will be prompted to do so. Enter the API key into the corresponding field. Image After saving your changes, the integration process will start. This can take up to 48 hours to complete, and you will be emailed once the integration is successful.

Permissions

Metaview connects with a Teamtailor Admin API key that has both Read and Write; Teamtailor has no per-resource permissions to select, so that key authorizes the connection as a whole. Metaview uses it to match your calls to the right candidate and role, enrich candidate profiles, keep your team in sync, and write Notes and other Metaview information back to Teamtailor. This is a direct connection — no third-party integration partner is involved. Anything under Optional is only used by an individual feature — without it, the core integration still works.

Teamtailor’s API keys only offer coarse Read and Write controls, not per-resource permissions. That means the optional writes above are covered by the same Write permission that note posting needs — there is no way to grant one without the others.

Features

Integrating your Teamtailor ATS to Metaview unlocks the following features:
  • Employees sync
  • Ability to post your Notes to ATS with one click
  • Data enrichment of candidate profile (e.g. name, job title, stage, location, CV)
  • Automatic addition of links to Metaview notes in your ATS
  • Use Application Review to screen, progress, and reject candidates
  • Use Sourcing to search through your ATS for potential candidates
  • Add new candidates to your ATS that have been sourced
When your call in Metaview matches to data in your ATS, you will see the Teamtailor logo in Metaview. Click on the Teamtailor logo go to the matched entry in your ATS.

Troubleshooting

Although Metaview does not automatically schedule calls from Teamtailor, Metaview will still attempt to match your calls scheduled by other means to the relevant entries in your ATS. The most common reasons why this doesn’t happen automatically are:
  • Call or candidate is missing in the ATS
  • Duplicate calls or candidates in the ATS
  • Data mismatch between Metaview invite and information in ATS (e.g. wrong participants, missing participant, wrong candidate)
  • Insufficient information to match call or candidate (often occurs when using Inviting to an ongoing call or Upload recordings options)
  • The meeting type is NOT set to Job interview or Debrief. Please see Call details for more information.
If you believe that a Metaview call was not matched or was incorrectly matched to your ATS data, please reach out to us and provide as much data as possible for our team to properly investigate. Please provide specific examples and the relevant IDs (e.g. application ID, candidate ID) from your ATS.

Disconnect your Teamtailor integration

You can disable your Metaview integration directly from within your Metaview account under Settings →Integrations then select Disconnect Teamtailor. This immediately disconnects Metaview from your ATS data. Please note however that any calls that have already been scheduled may still go ahead. Please see Disabling Metaview for details on how to also make sure that the Notetaker bot doesn’t join any future calls.
