Metaview integrates seamlessly with SmartRecruiters.

Connect SmartRecruiters to Metaview

  1. Navigate to SmartRecruiters Apps & Integrations In SmartRecruiters, go to SettingsApps & Integrations and search for Metaview in the marketplace.
  2. Connect the Metaview integration Click on Metaview and select Connect. You will be redirected to Metaview to complete the connection.
  3. Authorize the connection in Metaview If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to sign in to your Metaview account. Once signed in, you’ll see a consent page asking you to connect SmartRecruiters to Metaview. Connect SmartRecruiters Click Connect SmartRecruiters to authorize the integration.
  4. You will be redirected back to SmartRecruiters After approving the integration, you will be taken back to SmartRecruiters. The integration will begin syncing your data, which can take up to 48 hours to complete. You will be emailed once the integration is successful.

Features

Integrating your SmartRecruiters ATS to Metaview unlocks the following features:
  • Automatic scheduling directly from ATS
  • Employees sync
  • Automatic enrichment of Call details (e.g. candidate name, job title, stage, location)
  • Add your AI Notes as an attachment to the candidate’s application
  • Use AI Sourcing to search through your ATS for potential candidates
When a call was scheduled through SmartRecruiters or was matched to data in SmartRecruiters, you will see the SmartRecruiters logo in Metaview. Click SmartRecruiters logo go to the matched entry in your ATS.

Troubleshooting

When a call was not scheduled through SmartRecruiters, Metaview will still attempt to match your calls scheduled by other means to relevant entries in your ATS. The most common reasons why this doesn’t happen automatically are:
  • Call or candidate is missing in the ATS
  • Duplicate calls or candidates in the ATS
  • Data mismatch between Metaview invite and information in ATS (e.g. wrong participants, missing participant, wrong candidate)
  • Insufficient information to match call or candidate (often occurs when using Inviting to an ongoing call or Upload recordings options)
  • The meeting type is NOT set to Job interview or Debrief. Please see Call details for more information.
If your SmartRecruiters integration was set with Metaview prior to October 1st 2025, you may be required to re-connect the integration. Please follow the instructions above to benefit from all integration features.
If you believe that a Metaview call was not matched or was incorrectly matched to your ATS data, please reach out to us and provide as much data as possible for our team to properly investigate. Please provide specific examples and the relevant IDs (e.g. application ID, candidate ID) from your ATS.

Disconnect your SmartRecruiters integration

You can disable your Metaview integration directly from within your Metaview account under SettingsIntegrations then select Disconnect SmartRecruiters. This immediately disconnects Metaview from your ATS data. Please note however that any calls that have already been scheduled may still go ahead. Please see Disabling Metaview for details on how to also make sure that the Notetaker bot doesn’t join any future calls.
