Video conference calls

There are two supported ways to bring the Metaview Notetaker into a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex call that is already underway (or about to start, within 5 minutes): On your Metaview home page, paste the Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, or Webex meeting link. The Notetaker will attempt to join within a few seconds. Image
When you invite Metaview this way, it will not automatically assign call invitees and participants. Only the person who pasted the link initially gets access to the call. They will need to assign call participants (see Participants).

Invite notes@bot.metaview.ai from inside the meeting

From the call itself, invite notes@bot.metaview.ai like any other attendee. In Google Meet, use Add people; Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex each have an equivalent in-meeting invite option. A Notetaker will join within a few seconds. This works in any language, so an invite sent in German, Japanese, or Portuguese is handled the same way as one in English. It also works if the Notetaker was removed from the call earlier — invite the address again and a fresh bot will join.

Phone calls

Metaview does not currently have an option to join an ongoing phone call. If a candidate calls you or you want to add Metaview to an ongoing call, you won’t be able to use a 3-way calling or conference call feature. To capture a phone conversation with Metaview, you need to ensure that you dial the Metaview switchboard first and call the candidate through the switchboard.
