Metaview couldn’t automatically match

The extension tries to match your scorecard to a Metaview conversation. If no match is found, you can manually select the correct conversation from the side panel session picker.

Why were some scorecard fields left blank?

This is expected. Metaview intentionally leaves subjective fields blank — anything that requires your judgement as the interviewer (e.g. “Would you recommend this candidate?” or “How strong are the candidate’s technical skills?”). Fields may also be left blank if the transcript doesn’t contain relevant information. If you’d like a question to be autofilled, try rewording it to be more objective. For example, instead of “How strong are the candidate’s technical skills?” use “Summarize the candidate’s technical skills based on the interview discussion.”

I’m being asked to log in again

The extension uses a browser session for authentication. If you’ve cleared cookies, are using incognito mode, or your session has expired, you’ll be asked to log in again. Click Log in to continue.

Your ATS isn’t connected yet

Your Metaview workspace doesn’t have an ATS configured. Go to your Metaview settings and connect Greenhouse or Ashby. Once connected, autofill will work.

Unassigned speakers warning

If a transcript has unassigned speakers, the extension will show a warning. This can affect autofill quality. Go to the session in Metaview and assign speakers before retrying. For step-by-step instructions, see this guide.

This LinkedIn profile doesn’t match any candidates in Metaview

The extension looks for a matching candidate when you open a LinkedIn profile. If none is found, the person isn’t in your Metaview workspace yet.
