Ezekia

Tired of copying and pasting your notes from Metaview to Ezekia after every single conversation?

Using Zapier, you can seamlessly connect Metaview with Ezekia. Each time an interview is captured in Metaview, the link to the AI meeting notes will automatically be pushed to the candidate’s profile in Ezekia, making it easier for your team to review the conversation, collaborate, and make data-driven decisions.

Let's get started!

Setting up a Zap to connect to Ezekia

We will be setting up a Zap that takes the candidate's email from your Metaview call, finds the corresponding candidate in Ezekia, and then creates a note on that candidate's page with a link to your notes in Metaview. Let's break down these steps:

  1. Find the candidate's email: This can easily be done by using the "New Conversation" trigger in the Metaview integration in Zapier. Set up this trigger by creating a new Zap, clicking on the Trigger step and searching for Metaview. Select the "New Conversation" event and connect your Metaview account to Zapier following the steps here.

  2. Find the candidate in Ezekia: Click the Action step and search for Ezekia, then select the "Find Person by Email Address" action to find a candidate by email address. Next, you can set the search criteria in the "Configure" tab by pressing "Continue". Here, you can use the candidate email from the above step to search for the candidate.

Next to the "Email Address" input, click the '+' button and search for the "Candidate email" field from the previous step. Once this is set up, you can press "Continue" and test out the step.

Having issues? If you are unable to find a candidate in Ezekia in this step, check to make sure there is a candidate with the email being used. If you're still having issues, get in touch at support@metaview.ai.

  3. Create a note on the candidate page: Click the '+' button below the previous step to add another action, and search for Ezekia again. This time, select the "Add Note to Person" action to add a note to a candidate. Go to the "Configure" tab again to specify what you want to add to the note in the "Note field. You can use any information retrieved by the initial "New Conversation" step, including a link to the AI Notes generated by Metaview. This can be done by pressing the '+' button and searching for the "Notes URL" field. Alternatively, you can add the "Summary" field to add the entire AI-generated notes themselves.

In the "Person" field, click the '+' button and search for the "ID" field from the previous search step, to ensure that the note gets added to the correct candidate's profile in Ezekia.

And we're done! The image above shows what your Zap should look like. Hit Publish and you should be all set up to have your notes automatically pushed to Ezekia after every call.

I use Metaview on phone calls so I don't always have the candidate email

When using Metaview on a phone call, it is possible that you only have the candidate's phone number, and not their email address. We can update the above Zap to take this into account.

  1. Add a Path step to check whether we know the candidate's email: Click the '+' button between the first and second steps in the Zap, and select the "Paths by Zapier" built-in tool. You should see the following dialog - click "Add path".

  1. Configure the left branch of the path: Click the "Path conditions" step in Path A. We want to go down this path when we do have a candidate email address, just like the Zap we had set up earlier. Click "Choose field..." and search for the "Candidate email" field, then click "Choose condition..." and scroll down to the "Exists" condition.

  2. Configure the right branch of the path: Now click the "Path conditions" step in Path B. We want to go down this path whenever we don't go down the left path. Set this up by clicking "Custom rules" and setting this option to "Fallback".

  3. Find the candidate in Ezekia using their phone number: Click the Action step and search for Ezekia, then select the "Find Person by Phone" action to find a candidate by email address. Next, you can set the search criteria in the "Configure" tab by pressing "Continue". Here, you can use the candidate phone number from the above step to search for the candidate.

Next to the "Phone number" input, click the '+' button and search for the "Candidate number" field from the previous step. Once this is set up, you can press "Continue" and test out the step.

Having issues? If you are unable to find a candidate in Ezekia in this step, check to make sure there is a candidate with the email being used. If you're still having issues, get in touch at support@metaview.ai.

Hit Publish and your Zap should now be able to push notes to Ezekia using both the candidate's email address and their phone number, depending on which contact information is available.

How else can I use Zapier to automate my workflows?

With Metaview's Zapier integration, the possibilities for automation are endless. Look through our integration page for a full list of triggers and actions that Metaview provides, and check out Zapier's apps directory to see what other apps you can connect your Metaview account to.

If there is a particular automation you would like to set up and you require assistance in doing so, feel free to reach out to us at support@metaview.ai with details of the workflow you are looking to set up. We'd be happy to help!

Troubleshooting

Having issues with any of your Zaps? If you are struggling to set up a Zap, or you feel like a Zap you have published is not behaving as expected, contact us at support@metaview.ai and provide as much data as possible for our team to properly investigate.

My notes aren't being formatted correctly

Some applications on Zapier expect different formatting when creating notes. If your notes are being pushed as one paragraph without any line breaks, try using "Summary HTML" instead of "Summary" when creating a note. If this doesn't work either, contact us and we'll investigate the issue.
