Inviting to an ongoing or soon-to-start call

Video conference calls

To invite Metaview to an ongoing video conference call, or one that is about to start (within 5 minutes), we recommend using the option found on your Metaview home page. Simply paste the , , or meeting link and the Notetaker bot will attempt to join within a few seconds.

Although it is also possible to invite Metaview (notes@metaview.ai) to an ongoing meeting using the Add people option in Google Meet, or similar options in Zoom, Teams and Webex, these options are not recommended.

When using this option, Metaview will not automatically assign call invitees and participants. Only the person that added the meeting will initially get access to the call. They will need to assign call participants (use instructions here: ).

Phone calls

Metaview does not currently have an option to join an ongoing phone call. If a candidate calls you or you want to add Metaview to an ongoing call, you won't be able to use a 3-way calling or conference call feature.

To capture a phone conversation with Metaview, you need to ensure that you dial the Metaview switchboard first and call the candidate through the switchboard.
