Notion
This guide will show you how to use Zapier to automatically add Metaview summaries to Notion. This setup is useful if you want to archive all conversation summaries in Notion for easy reference.
Use this template to get started!
Or you can set it up manually:
Step 1: Set Up the Trigger in Zapier
Create a New Zap and add a Trigger.
Select Metaview as the app.
Choose New Conversation as the trigger event.
Configure the Trigger Settings:
Meetings Type: Choose either:
My Meetings for personal use.
Team Meetings if you're an admin and want this Zap accessible to everyone in your organization. For Team Meetings, set Private to
false
. For My Meetings, leave it astrue
.
Label: Add a recognizable label like Push to Notion.
Trigger Automatically: Set to
false
. This way, you can edit notes in Metaview before pushing them to Notion.
Step 2: Add a Notion Action to Find the Page
Add an Action in Zapier and select Notion as the app.
Choose Find Page (By Title) as the action event.
Create a Parent Page in Notion where all Metaview notes will be saved, such as Metaview Notes.
Configure the Action Settings:
Connect your Notion account and allow access to the relevant pages.
Type in the title of the Notion page to locate it in your workspace.
Optionally, select if the title should be an exact match.
Step 3: Add an Action to Post Content to Notion
Add Another Action in Zapier.
Select Notion as the app and choose Add Content to Page as the action event.
Configure the Content Settings:
Select the Page where the notes will be added (e.g., Metaview Notes).
Add the content you want to display, like Participants’ emails, Meeting Title, and Summary from Metaview.
Step 4: Test and Publish
