# Workable

> Configure the Workable integration for your workspace.

Metaview integrates seamlessly with [Workable](https://help.workable.com/hc/en-us/articles/21648241871767-Integrating-with-Metaview). This enables automatic interview capture and AI-generated summaries, along with workflows like Application Review and AI Sourcing — helping your team work more efficiently and make better hiring decisions.

## Connect Workable to Metaview

<Warning>
  Always connect Workable to Metaview using the dedicated **`Metaview`** integration item under **Service Integrations → Other Integrations** (described below).

  **Do not** create a token from the **`API Access Tokens`** section of Workable. Tokens generated there are not granted the permissions Metaview needs, so the integration will fail — for example, candidate profiles won't be created or updated. If you previously connected using an `API Access Tokens` key, disconnect, remove that token in Workable, and reconnect using the steps below.

**1. Open the `Metaview` integration in Workable**

As a Super Admin, go to the `Integrations` section of your Workable account, then under **Service Integrations → Other Integrations** click the **`Metaview`** item. You can go straight to [this link](https://workable.com/backend/account/integrations), or follow the steps in the GIF below.

**2. Generate a token**

On the **`Metaview`** integration item, click `Generate token` and copy the token. Make sure you generate it here, **not** from the `API Access Tokens` section.

**3. Share the token with Metaview**

Navigate to [https://my.metaview.app/?settings=workable](https://my.metaview.app/?settings=workable). If you haven't previously signed in to Metaview, you will be prompted to do so. Paste in the token, and click `Save`.

## Features

Integrating your Workable ATS to Metaview unlocks the following features:

* Automatic scheduling directly from ATS
* Employees sync
* Ability to post your notes and TLDR to ATS with one click
* Data enrichment of candidate profile (e.g. name, job title, stage, location, CV)
* Automatic addition of links to Metaview notes in ATS
* Use AI Sourcing to search through your ATS for potential candidates
* Add new candidates to your ATS that have been sourced

When a call was scheduled through Workable or was matched to data in Workable, you will see the Workable logo in Metaview. Click on the `Workable` logo go to the matched entry in your ATS.

## Troubleshooting

When a call was not scheduled through Workable, Metaview will still attempt to match your calls scheduled by other means to relevant entries in your ATS. The most common reasons why this doesn't happen automatically are:

* Call or candidate is missing in the ATS
* Duplicate calls or candidates in the ATS
* Data mismatch between Metaview invite and information in ATS (e.g. wrong participants, missing participant, wrong candidate)
* Insufficient information to match call or candidate (often occurs when using Inviting to an ongoing call or Upload recordings options)
* The meeting type is NOT set to **Job interview** or **Debrief**. Please see Call details for more information.

If you believe that a Metaview call was not matched or was incorrectly matched to your ATS data, please reach out to [us](mailto:support@metaview.ai) and provide as much data as possible for our team to properly investigate. Please provide specific examples and the relevant IDs (e.g. application ID, candidate ID) from your ATS.

## Disconnect your Workable integration

You can disable your Metaview integration directly from within your Metaview account under `Settings` →`Integrations` then select `Disconnect Workable`.

This immediately disconnects Metaview from your ATS data. Please note however that any calls that have already been scheduled may still go ahead. Please see [Disabling Metaview](/joining-your-calls/inviting-the-notetaker/disabling-metaview) for details on how to also make sure that the Notetaker bot doesn't join any future calls.
