# Paradox

> Configure the Paradox integration for your workspace.

Metaview integrates with [Paradox](https://www.paradox.ai/). This brings Paradox jobs, candidates, applications, and stages into Metaview for Notes, Screening, and Sourcing.

## Connect Paradox to Metaview

In Metaview, go to **Settings** → **Integrations**, find **Paradox**, and click **Connect**. Follow the on-screen flow to authorize your Paradox account.

You will need:

* Your Paradox API URL (`api.paradox.ai`, `api.eu1.paradox.ai` for the EU region, or your dedicated instance)
* The URL you use to log in to Paradox
* Your XML Job Feed URL, from the **Standard Job Feed** section of the **Job Distribution** settings
* An Account ID and API Secret, from **My Profile** → **Settings** in Paradox. Your Paradox admin must first turn on **API Access** for your role.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Paradox allows one active API Secret per user. Generating a new secret disconnects any other integration using the old one, so we recommend generating it on a user that isn't used by other integrations.

After saving your changes, the integration process will start. This can take up to 48 hours to complete, and you will be emailed once the integration is successful.

## Permissions

The Paradox connection is authorized through Kombo as a whole — there are no individual permissions for you to select. Metaview uses that access to match your calls to the right candidate and role, enrich candidate profiles, and write Notes and other Metaview information back to Paradox.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Kombo is a Metaview subprocessor. Our current subprocessor list is published in the [Trust Center](https://trust.metaview.ai/), and the terms covering this processing are set out in our [DPA](https://www.metaview.ai/data-processing-agreement). See also [Privacy and security](https://support.metaview.ai/account-management/privacy-and-security/overview.md).

Anything under **Optional** is only used by an individual feature — without it, the core integration still works.

## Features

* Candidate metadata, including name, contact details, job, location, and stage
* Add Notes and TLDRs to a Paradox application as text notes
* Automatic addition of links to Metaview notes in Paradox
* Screening results added as notes on the Paradox application
* Open matched Paradox candidates and applications directly from Metaview
* Use [Sourcing](https://support.metaview.ai/sourcing/overview.md) to search through your Paradox candidates
* Add sourced candidates to Paradox roles

## What's not supported

* **Automatic scheduling from the ATS** — Paradox interviews are not available through this integration. To capture Paradox interviews automatically, [set up Paradox to invite the Notetaker](https://support.metaview.ai/integrations/calendar/paradox.md).
* **Application Review** — Paradox applications cannot currently be imported into Application Review.
* **Stage changes and rejections** — complete any Paradox stage or status changes in Paradox.
* **Employees sync, CVs, departments, tags, rejection reasons, and scorecards** — this data is not available through the Paradox connector.

## Troubleshooting

Metaview will attempt to match your calls to relevant Paradox candidates and applications. Common reasons a call or candidate may not be matched include:

* The call or candidate is missing in Paradox
* Duplicate candidates or applications in Paradox
* A mismatch between the Metaview invite and the candidate's Paradox details
* Insufficient information to identify the candidate
* The meeting type is not set to **Job interview** or **Debrief**

If a call was not matched or was matched incorrectly, please [contact support](mailto:support@metaview.ai) with specific examples and the relevant Paradox candidate IDs.

## Disconnect your Paradox integration

In Metaview, go to **Settings** → **Integrations**, select **Paradox**, and choose **Disconnect Paradox**.

This immediately disconnects Metaview from your Paradox data. Calls already scheduled on your calendar may still go ahead. See [Disabling Metaview](https://support.metaview.ai/notes/capturing-calls/disabling-capture.md) to prevent the Notetaker from joining future calls.
